LED kitchen lighting

Not too long ago, not many people had heard of LED lighting, but now, it’s hard to imagine life without LED’s. The fact that they last longer and consume less energy, while also offering excellent light quality has made them a favorite whether it is in the workplace or at home. If you are someone who is looking to decorate your house with LED lights, then here are a few handy tips that will make your task much easier.

Living room LED lighting
The living room is obviously the most important part of any home. It is here that most of the family members spend a majority of their time. Ambient light is, therefore, the key in drawing rooms. Since the living room is usually bigger than other rooms, it is also preferable that you use dimmable lights here. The LED lighting there should be such that it should avoid causing any glare.

Bedroom LED lighting
Bedrooms are of course the opposite of the dining or the living room. You don’t need bright lights here. Make sure though that you have provision for floor lights and reading lights. Again, dimmable lights are ideally suited for the bedroom.

Kitchen LED lighting
We next come to the kitchen. It is a place which needs to be illuminated most of the times. The sink area, as well as the platform, need additional lighting. LED strips would be a great option in places such as counter areas or under the cabinet in the kitchen.

Dining area LED lighting
Hanging fixtures would perfectly complement the interiors of your dining, for they would go well with almost any dining table. Ambient lighting is again the key in the dining room. The room could also do with some lighting at the corners, for it will make the room look bigger than it actually is, apart from helping to brighten up the table.

LED Stair Lighting
You can literally make the stairs come alive with chandelier style LED fixtures over them. This would not only add a touch of elegance to the ceilings, but also help quite literally brighten up the entire ambiance of your home.

Bathroom LED Lighting
Bathrooms need to be well lit. if there is a large mirror, then lights surrounding the mirror are a good idea.
